SEOUL, Korea, Nov 08, 2022— FedEx Express (FedEx), asubsidiary ofFedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’slargest expresstransportation companies, is bolstering support forcross-bordertrade and e-commerce growth in Korea with the launchof its newFedEx Incheon Gateway located at Incheon InternationalAirport,South Korea. The new facility offers enhanced capabilitiesthat willbenefit local businesses looking to access internationalmarkets andsupport the growing demand for e-commerce andcold-chainshipments.Connectingmore businesses to global markets

The newIncheon Gateway spans 23,395 square meters, more than doublethesize of the previous facility, and is e with 78 conveyorbeltsand an advanced automated sortation system that can sort upto12,000 packages per hour, doubling the previous sortingcapacity. Italso includes a 15,207-s warehouse that cansafely store up to40,000 packages. With 31 weekly flights, the newfacility connectsKorea to over 220 countries and territoriesthrough the FedEx globalnetwork. The new Gateway supportsimporters and exporters includingsmall- and medium-enterprises(SMEs) and heavy-weight shippers withgreater and more reliableaccess to and from internationalmarkets.

With SouthKorea tracking as the fourth biggest exporter in Asialastyear[1] andthe world’s fifth-largest e-commercemarket,[2] thenew Incheon Gateway will further boost ouralready extensivenetwork to create possibilities for customersacross the region.
